Everything on this site is general information about what we do. It is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and no advice relationship is created by reading it or by sending an enquiry. Do not act on anything here without taking advice on your own circumstances.

What we do not do

We do not carry out statutory audit or any other attest or assurance engagement. We are not your statutory auditors and not your tax return preparers. You should keep the professionals who do that work.

Engagements

Work begins only under a written engagement letter setting out scope, deliverables, timeline, fee and the responsibilities of each side. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and no fee quoted in conversation is binding until it is in that letter.

Figures on this site

Outcome figures shown on the principal's page are achievements from executive roles held before this firm was incorporated. They describe past performance of former employers and are not a forecast, a promise or a representation of what any engagement with us will produce. Ranges quoted elsewhere are typical observed ranges for work of that kind, not commitments.

Conflicts

We check for conflicts before accepting an engagement and decline work that creates one. If a conflict emerges during an engagement, we tell you immediately.

Liability

Our liability under any engagement is limited as set out in the engagement letter for that work. We accept no liability for any action taken on the basis of this website alone.

Governing law

These terms and any engagement are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolkata have exclusive jurisdiction.
